Assistant for Nuremberg North – Near the City Park

I am a woman who, due to my blindness and reliance on a wheelchair, am seeking immediate assistance to support and accompany me in the following areas:

Household management: Such as cleaning the apartment, helping with cooking, baking, shopping, and doing laundry.

For outdoor activities such as leisure pursuits—for example, going for walks (I enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors in nature), going to the movies, and reading books aloud. Your responsibilities also include accompanying and assisting with doctor’s and therapy appointments, visits to government offices, and handling administrative tasks—such as reading mail aloud and filling out forms under my guidance. This also includes caregiving tasks, such as assisting with showering or bathing.

You should know that even though I don't have a dog or a cat of my own, I often have dogs come over or visit friends who have dogs.

I love going for walks outside a lot, no matter the season, which is why you should be healthy enough to go outside with me even when it’s cooler and to push me in my wheelchair for longer distances sometimes. Of course, you can let me know if you need a break from pushing or if you’re getting cold—I just want to go outside a lot with assistance, since I can’t go outside on my own without support.

For my current team, I'm looking for open-minded, friendly, and reliable assistants—people I can joke around with and who can easily adapt to my daily routines. I'm open to assistants with or without prior experience :).
