Participation counseling Middle Franconia Northeast

For people with disabilities, participation means living in the midst of society - with the same opportunities and choices as non-disabled people. For example, people with disabilities also want to run their own household, live in a partnership, choose family and parenthood, work and organize their free time according to their own interests.

Our advisory services support you in leading a self-determined life and getting the help you need to do so.

Who do we advise?

  • People with various disabilities and chronic illnesses
  • People who are at risk of disability
  • Relatives and people from the social environment of people with disabilities

How do we advise?

We take your wishes and goals seriously when advising you.
It is important to us to meet people as equals and to treat them with empathy and respect.
We will work with you to find a suitable solution for your concerns and discuss the necessary steps.
You are the expert on your own behalf, because you know best what you need.
We advise you so that you can make self-determined decisions and shape your life.
We support you in applying for benefits and organizing your assistance.
All of the advisors are themselves disabled and contribute their experience to the advice.
We advise you in addition to other services and independently of any organizations that pay or provide benefits.
We treat everything you tell us in the strictest confidence.

In which area can we help you?

You decide for yourself what you would like to talk to us about during the consultation. We provide advice on various topics relating to living with a disability, e.g.

  • Living in your own home
  • Care and assistance
  • Training and work
  • Partnership, family and parenthood
  • Leisure and vacation
  • Aids
  • Severely disabled person's pass
  • Disabled driving service
  • Personal budget

If necessary and with your consent, we will refer you to other counseling services and specialist agencies.

Where does the consultation take place and how much does it cost?

  • Counseling is free of charge and takes place in barrier-free rooms.
  • We are also happy to advise you by telephone or e-mail.
  • We carry out home visits if required.
  • The costs for sign language interpreters and language interpreters are covered.

The Participation Counseling Middle Franconia Northeast is funded by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs through the nationwide project Supplementary Independent Participation Counseling (EUTB) on the basis of § 32 SGB IX.
