Frog breathing

Training and advice

Project frog breathing

The "Frog breathing - training and advice" project"

Frog breathing is a technique used to swallow air into the lungs with the help of the mouth and throat muscles. The technique needs to be taught and practiced in order to be used effectively. The project offered training courses throughout Germany, making frog breathing widely known in Germany.

The target groups were and are physically disabled people who are dependent on mechanical ventilation, but physiotherapists, respiratory therapists, speech therapists and members of other medical professions should also be addressed.

Through frog breathing, ventilated people can experience that their lives may not be completely dependent on ventilators, but that frog breathing can bridge short or longer periods of time.

We also continue to offer workshops and training courses on glossopharyngeal (frog) breathing.
