Participation means:
People with disabilities should be able to be everywhere.
They should have the same opportunities as people without disabilities.

People with disabilities, for example, would like to:

  • live in their own apartment,

  • have a partnership,

  • start a family and have children,

  • work,

  • organize their free time the way they want to.

Our advice helps you to make your own decisions about your life.
We support you so that you get the help you need.

Who do we advise?

  • People with various disabilities

  • People with long or serious illnesses

  • People who may soon have a disability

  • Relatives and other important persons of people with disabilities

How do we advise?

Your wishes and goals are very important in the consultation.
We talk to you at eye level.
We go friendly, empathetic and respectful with you.

We will work with you to find a good solution to your questions.
We explain the steps you need to take.

You know yourself best.
That is why You Expert in your own life.

We advise you so that you can decide for yourself.
We can also help you to submit applications and organize support.

All advisors have a disability themselves.
They bring their own experience with them.

Our advice is supplementary to other offers and independent of bodies that pay for or offer services.

Everything you tell us remains strictly confidential.

In which area can we help you?

You decide for yourself what you want to talk about in the consultation.
We provide advice on many topics relating to living with a disability or impairment.
For example:

  • Living in your own home

  • Care and assistance

  • Training and work

  • Partnership, family and children

  • Leisure and vacation

  • Auxiliary means

  • Disabled person's pass

  • Transport services for people with disabilities

  • Personal budget

If you wish, we can also refer you to other advice centers or specialists.

Where does the consultation take place and how much does it cost?

  • The consultation is free of charge.
    The rooms for the consultation are barrier-free.

    We can also on the phone or by e-mail advise.
    If you need it, we will also come to your home.
    A translator or sign language interpreter may be present.
    The costs for this are paid.

    The Participation Advice Center Middle Franconia Northeast is part of the project EUTB.
    The project is supported by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs paid.
    The legal basis is § 32 SGB IX.
